Pull List for 3/22/2023

If you watch my most anticipated comics video every week you will know that I like to shout out League of Comic Geeks and I have to do it here too. While it is not perfect and I have noticed that ordering books with Lunar has sometimes messed up the day you receive it this is what my pull list looks like.

As I talked about in my DCUI Ultra update I have moved mostly all my DC stuff to digital besides Batman, Detective Comics and a few other ones. This list is also some of the stuff I have been picking up from G-Mart over my local shop.

New Number One Issues

A lot of new number ones come out from a lot of new publishers so wanted to highlight a few of those

1. Doctor Strange #1 – Marvel – This follows the run of Strange Jed McKay did and I really enjoyed that so making sure to check out this too.
2. Etheres #1 – Source Point Press – Joe talked about this on my latest issue of most anticipated comics and he loved so much I need to check it out.
3. The Neighbors #1 – Boom Studios – This is a book I had in my most anticipated comics list. The mix of folklore and mythology made me interested but the same writer as MAW made me know I needed to grab this.
4. Popscars #1 – Sumerian Comics – This is a book that I feel like social media has really taken to, as I’ve seen so much about this on Instagram and knew I needed to grab this.
5. We Wicked Ones #1 – Scout Comics – The David Mack cover really grabbed me, but the idea of a witch contract killer for the Government this one sounds great!

Chopping Block

1. Gargoyles #4 – Dynamite Comics – This book is filled with nostalgia, but as the book was announced I started watching the TV Show with my daughter. She liked it, but the comic hasn’t been as fun to read together as I thought and besides the covers, it’s not doing a lot for me.
