Achieving Health Goals with OKRs: Week 4 Update

Welcome back!
We’re already on week four of my OKRs, inspired by Measure What Matters. This initiative is helping me focus on improving my health while setting measurable, achievable goals. If you have any feedback or ideas, I’d love to hear them!

Objective: Improve Overall Health and Fitness

Here’s a reminder of my Key Results and how things went this week:

Key Result 1: Lose 1 pound per week

Green – While weight loss is not my primary focus, it’s a helpful metric to track. I lost 2 pounds this week, which feels great, especially after Thanksgiving!

Key Result 2: Work out 4.5 times per week

Green – Success! I hit the gym 5 times this week, even squeezing in early morning sessions on Thursday and Friday during the holidays.

Key Result 3: Limit fast food consumption to 0.5 times per week

Green – Just one fast-food day (Domino’s on Wednesday). Staying under my goal here is a win!

Key Result 4: Drink 100 oz of water daily

🟡 Yellow – I averaged 84.6% of my target, so there’s room for improvement, but I’m still making progress.

Week 4 Recap

Getting to the gym five times made a huge difference and helped me hit three greens this week! Water intake is still a challenge, but overall, this feels like my best week yet.
