Favorite Childhood Book.

Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?

While I’m a very big reader now, I was not a huge reader in my childhood.  However, one of the books I really remember and stuck with me was Where the Red Fern Grows as this is a book my mother read to me.  I remember my mom crying at the end and me being like “mom can you stop crying so we can finish this” 😂 .  Can’t wait to share a similar memory with my kids, which is why I ran to eBay and grabbed a copy.

So while I don’t remember the book much, besides the ending, I remember the memory with my mother.  I’d love to hear what everyone else’s favorite books from their childhood are and why, and maybe I can add some of my list of books to share with my kids.

  1. That book was a heart breaker. The only book, and movie, that made me cry.
